Webinar: Are you Driven to Learn about Lean?
Are You Driven to Learn Lean? What operating your car can teach you about continuous improvement.
In January's edition of our live webinar show, Jeff Hajek and I will be discussing what you can learn about Lean from driving your car.
Anyone familiar with Lean knows how deeply rooted it is in the auto industry. But most people use examples from the production of cars rather than car ownership.
We take a unique view in this half hour show (plus an extra fifteen minutes allocated for questions). We look at how car ownership demonstrates countless Lean principles. Poka yokes, standardization, TPM, visual controls, and more!
We will be recording the show, and will make our slides available for download.

Tim,
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea! I use car ownership for many examples when teaching TPM. Almost anyone can relate to the basic work done on their car. Unfortunately I have an unavoidable conflict and won't be able to make the webinar. I'm looking forward to downloading the slides when they are available.
